There are many
kinds of heroes in the world. One of the mightiest is Mark Malinowski of
Chicago whoÕs hundreds of hours of volunteer time have made him the ÒSanta
ClausÓ of Davis Developmental Center on ChicagoÕs southeast side. Ignoring his
own physical limitations, heÕs hauled rocks, painted, landscaped, and scrounged
many necessary items for the 3-6 year-old disabled children of the school. He
was the prime mover in two December
benefits which raised over $11,000 for the special needs of the Davis ÒAngels.Ó
HeÕs also a student of sea songs and the concertina.
